Vandana A. Faust, CPA

Vandana graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as an Accounting major.  Vandana obtained the CPA certificate in March 1992 after passing a rigorous 3-day written exam.  She has over 18 years experience in the public accounting industry. 

Vandana obtained her Life Insurance license in 2010.

Other industry knowledge includes:

• Internal Auditor for Hospital Corporation of America ( Columbia HCA)
• Corporate Accountant for Central Parking System, Inc.
• Accounting Manager for R & R Uniforms, Inc. (retail uniform industry)

 

David Faust
Business Manager

David Faust graduated from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Logistics. He has a broad based background and has over 10 years of tax preparation experience.    David is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor with experience in Quickbooks Financial and Point of Sale programs training and implementation. Other industry knowledge includes:

• Bendix / Bosch Automotive Corporation – Material Management
• Owens Corning Corporation -  Logistics Manager
• Hillsdale Tool & Manufacturing – Material Manager

Cynthia Polaschek
Accounting Assistant

Cynthia joined the team in 2006 to assist with the growing number of monthy accounting clients.  She brings with her over 20 years of experience in bookkeeping.    Cynthia has now been with the company for over 6 years and works with all of our clients for payroll, sales tax, bank reconciliation, 1099’s, W-2’s and business licenses.

Alexandra Beasley
Tax Assistant

Alex joined the company in 2012 to assist with the growing number of tax returns received every year. She comes to us with tax experience from current tax laws and a two year accounting degree. Alex will be preparing and summarizing tax information for individuals and small businesses.

HISTORY

The company was founded as an accounting and tax practice for individuals and small businesses. The company has been in business since the year 2000 and was formerly known as “Accounting Office of Vandana Faust, CPA.”  The name was changed in the year 2012 to “ProActive Tax Solutions, GP.”

The home-based business was developed to offer business owners who are small an opportunity to obtain affordable services of a Certified Public Accountant.  The company has grown over the past few years and now services over 30 business clients and over 200 tax clients.
